Description
A FINE GEORGE III SILVER VASE-SHAPED COFFEE POT, by Daniel Smith & Robert Sharp, London 1776, with a vase shaped finial to the conical cover, beaded borders, a fruitwood loop handle, a cast curved spout, on a conforming pedestal base, engraved with a crest. 32cm high, 35 troy ounces Blazon of crest: a gauntlet erect proper between two ostrich plumes. This distinctive crest is unrepresented in any of the indexes of the UK which include Ireland. Its absence suggests that it is an unrecorded and assumed crest that cannot be linked to any granted arms. View 360 degree spin: https://sarlydro.sirv.com/Spins/A%20May%205th%2022/x04/x04.spin
