A black and bronze patinated cast spelter sculpture, Buffalo Horse after Frederic Remington, American, 1861 to 1909. The sculpture depicts the fateful moment of impact of a large buffalo as it sends a Native American horse and rider into the air. The buffalo is shown with its front two hooves off the ground with the horse partially draped over one shoulder and the buffalo hunter desperately grabbing on to the horses mane.
