Uncommon Carte De Visite, 2.375" x 3.5", of Ulysses S. Grant as General during the Civil War. The photo was taken by Mathew Brady and is in excellent condition, with the future President's gaze being clear and sharp. On the verso, and partially over the Brady stamp is a "Specialite", Selby & McCauley sticker. Evidence of trimming on the bottom of the photo, but not affecting the photo.
