Painted with pattern 320 of two figures walking by a river in an extensive rural landscape by Boreman, framed by swags of flowers and pale blue foliate branches tied with puce ribbons by Billingsley, formal gilded borders around the rims, the cover with a ring finial, 14.5cm high, crown, crossed batons, D mark and pattern 320 in puce, gilder's number 3 for William Cooper (2)

Pattern 320 was the most expensive pattern in the Tea Book. Around ten examples of this most desirable of patterns turned up at Derby in 1877 according to paper labels found on other pieces from the service. A coffee cup and saucer and a teapot stand of the pattern from The Twinight Collection were sold by Bonhams on 29 September 2021, lots 6 and 7.
