A Derby coffee can and saucer by George Complin and William Billingsley, circa 1791-95
The can painted by George Complin with a bluetit perched on an upset basket of fruit, another on a vine branch to the left, further fruit including apples, peaches and plums on the ground below, the can and saucer with yellow grounds reserving panels of pink roses by William Billingsley, can 6.2cm high, crown, crossed batons, D marks in puce and pattern 236 in puce (2)
