Covered in blue cloth with gilt lettering and decoration, the codex features 265 pages which detail the following short stories: "Love of Life," "A Day's Lodging," "The White Man's Way," "The Story of Keesh," "The Unexpected," "Brown Wolf," "The Sun-Dog Trail," and "Negore, the Coward." One of 7,973 copies printed. Size: 5.5" L x 1.2" W x 7.7" H (14 cm x 3 cm x 19.6 cm)

Born John Griffith Chaney, Jack London was an American novelist, journalist, and social activist who became one of the first American authors to gain international celebrity status. Considered an innovator of science fiction, London was a passionate advocate of unionization, workers' rights, and socialism. He is most famous for writing "The Call of the Wild" and "White Fang," both set in the Klondike Gold Rush which London joined at the age of 21 in 1897.
