Chinese Yuan Dynasty Blue and White Dragon Porcelain Jar. Potted with a cylindrical straight vessel, short neck, flaring round mouth lip, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of flowers blooms interspersed foliage, scrolling interlocking tendril and Ruyi shaped large pendants filled by scrolling clouds, interspersed by floral and fruiting banquets. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportionThe underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
