Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue and White Porcelain Watering Pot. Potted in water pot shape, globular body with curve spout flanked on the mid belly outward at the short mouth rim, a looped handles giving a balance on the opposite sides, flanked on the upper neck to shoulder, round opening mouth with dome lid finial bud, raised with ring foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of flowers blooms interspersed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportion.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
