Handwritten letter, dated September 26, 1959, signed by Montgomery of Alamein -- Commander who defeated Rommel in Africa during WW II. 7 1/4" x 5 1/2". Authentication letter from R&R Enterprises included. Note: Bernard Law "Monty" Montgomery (1887 - 1976) commanded the British Eighth Army from August 1942 through the Second Battle of El Alamein and on to the final Allied victory in Tunisia in May 1943.
