1st Viscount Nelson, 1st Duke of Bronte, also known as Admiral Nelson, a British flag officer in the Royal Navy, signed two-sided letter dated June 12, 1801 begins with 'My Dear Sir, I cannot sufficiently thank you for your kind remembrance of __ Colonel Stewart and I sincerely hope that some day very near . .', the letter references the King's 'kindness toward the Danish subjects' and more, the letter was written only weeks after Nelson's victory at Copenhagen on April 2nd, 1801, signed 'your obliged and affectionate servant Nelson Bronte', matted and mounted in a 2-sided hanging frame, attached to a larger back frame having a mounted lithographed photo image of Admiral Nelson and 2 engraved brass plaques, one with his famous quote ' England expects that every man will do his duty', signature guarantee by American Autograph & Manuscript, Palm beach, FL, affixed to verso, toning and old folds, minor frames losses and bangs, letter size 9x7.75in., hanging frame 14x13in., overall framed 27x35in.
