Pre-Columbian Maya Ceramic Rattle Vessel, Early Classic, 100-500 CE. Slip painted pottery bulbous cylinder vessel, with lower rattle chamber pierced with step motifs and with white pigment. Provenance: Private Maryland collection; Sotheby's Arcade 1980's. Size: 7.5'' x 4.5'' x 4.5'' (19 x 11 x 11 cm).
