ROGER SHERMAN (1721-1793). Only Person to have Signed All Four "Key" American Documents; Signer of the Declaration of Independence, Articles of Association, Articles of Confederation (of which he helped draft), and the United States Constitution.
A boldly written Manuscript Document Signed, "Roger Sherman", 6" x 7.25", 1 page, no date or place, Very Fine. Being a Manuscript "Bill of Cost" listing for a Joseph Dudley's legal fees in a court case. Items being charged for include; Summons for Witnesses, Travel and Attendance of 10 Witnesses, Court fee, Clerk fee, Attorney fee and so on. Total legal costs totaling, 15 2 shillings 11 pence being documented. Docket on the blank reverse reads: "Dom Ren v. Joseph Dudley - Bill of Costs." Beautifully Signed in full "Roger Sherman" very clearly having excellent eye appeal at the conclusion in rich brown ink, penned on clean laid watermarked Colonial period paper, measuring a large 2.5" long.
