Description
An Egyptian silver plaque and amulet. Lot includes an Egyptian silver plaque, Late Period - Ptolemaic, c. 664 - 30 BC, rectangular with incised 'Amen-Re Gives Life' with a figure leading a pair of oxen below the Men sign, 14 x 8 mm. The second is a red frit amulet or bead with an eye of Horus, Late Period - Ptolemaic, c. 664 - 30 BC, with hole for suspension. 9 x 8 mm. Ex collection of Peter Cheremisinoff, NJ.
