Andrew Johnson Signed "Affix the Seal" Document, Nice Display
1p partially printed, measuring 8" x 6.75" (sight), Washington, D.C., dated July 8, 1867. Andrew Johnson as President directs the Secretary of State "to affix the seal of the United States to the approval of the Postmaster General of the Postal Convention between the U.S. & Great Britain of 18th June, 1867." Signed "Andrew Johnson" at the conclusion. The document is matted and framed with an engraving of President Johnson to the overall size of 19" x 12.5". With flattened folds and light edge toning. A few spots of foxing, else very good.
