Description
Southeast Asia, Thailand, Sawankhalok or Sukhothai, ca. 15th century CE. A gorgeous pottery dish displaying thick walls that slope upwards to a flared rim with an undulating periphery, all sitting upon a ring-form foot. Enveloped in a gorgeous hue of turquoise, the elegant dish presents a beautiful pattern along its interior walls comprised of an oscillating band flanked by top and bottom parallel striations, while the exterior of the bowl boasts lovely vertical ribs. Size: 11.75" in diameter x 3.125" H (29.8 cm x 7.9 cm)
