This is a handsome estate found original gouache painting on paper by American artist Ned Young (b. 1954). Young is best known for his landscapes and depictions of frontier life in the American West. This painting features a hunter/trapper dressed in leather skins with a traditional Hudson's Bay striped point blanket over his shoulder. It is signed and dated for 1982 on the lower right corner. - The frame is 27 1/8" x 20 1/8" with a sight view of 24 1/2" x 17 1/2". The painting within the matting is 18 1/4" x 11 1/2".

In overall very good condition with some toning to the matting and some wear to the frame.
