EARLY PAUL YSART (SCOTTISH, 1904-1979) ATTRIBUTED HEART MILLEFIORI ART GLASS PAPERWEIGHT, encasement having a grey tint, central six-point star cane with orange and yellow interior linked to matching fuchsia and white complex canes that form a heart, encircled by alternating blue and white tubes and orange and yellow complex canes, all above a mottled cobalt blue and amethyst ground, rough pontil mark. Scotland. Third quarter 20th century. 2 3/4" D.
Nearly undamaged with a single flake and minute bruise to the underside of the base, probably as made.
