EARLY PAUL YSART (SCOTTISH, 1904-1979) ATTRIBUTED CONCENTRIC MILLEFIORI ART GLASS PAPERWEIGHT, encasement having a grey tint, central multi-colored complex cane encircled by an adjacent ring of plum and white floral canes, white filigree twists reaching toward the exterior, spaced garland of matching complex canes with controlled bubbles rising from the end of the filigree, all above a royal purple ground, rough pontil mark. Scotland. Third quarter 20th century. 2 7/8" D.
Virtually undamaged with some scattered light wear. Interior imperfection toward the base, as made.
