EARLY PAUL YSART (SCOTTISH, 1904-1979) ATTRIBUTED CONCENTRIC MILLEFIORI ART GLASS PAPERWEIGHT, central orange and yellow eight-point star cane surrounded by three millefiori rings, interior rings comprising alternating ruby tubes and large white floral canes, middle ring having a pattern of complex canes, exterior ring consisting of blue and red canes resting in differing positions, all above a mottled steel blue ground, rough pontil mark. Scotland. Third quarter 20th century. 3 1/4" D.
Excellent condition overall with a small surface flake resulting in a small bruise, some scattered light wear.
