EARLY PAUL YSART (SCOTTISH, 1904-1979) ATTRIBUTED CONCENTRIC MILLEFIORI ART GLASS PAPERWEIGHT, encasement having a purple tint, large white central cane encircled by four exterior rings with the interior ring comprising blue and white floral canes, second ring having multi-colored complex canes, third ring patterned by a pair of green and white cogs followed by a multi-colored complex cane, exterior ring consisting of alternating blue and orange/red canes, polished base and pontil mark. Scotland. Third quarter 20th century. 2 7/8" D.
Nearly undamaged with a single minute surface bruise and some light surface wear.
