An interesting map of the Americas which notes land possessions of the newly formed United States and various European colonial powers. English are red, Spanish, yellow; French, blue; Portuguese, brown; Dutch, orange; and lastly the United States in green.

The western edge of the United States ends at the Mississippi River, which is shown on the map wrapping around to the northwest. Two Rivers of the West are shown, one connection the St. Charles River of the south, the other to Pikes Lake.

Condition: Good condition save for some minor stains along upper margin. Full original body color.
