This charming image depicts Calvin and Hobbes, the title characters from Watterson's iconic comic strip. Unframed dimensions approximately 10.75" x 8.25".

Reverse side of piece features a trio of black-and-white images, suggesting that this page was torn from a reference book.

Bill Watterson (American, 1958 - ) was born in Washington, D.C. He was a political cartoonist for a college publication during the late 1970s, which led to a position as an editorial cartoonist for the Cincinnati Post. Eventually, Watterson abandoned political cartoons for his first love: comics. "Calvin and Hobbes" became a smashing success for Watterson, endearing him to millions of weekly readers for a full decade.
