A GEORGE III FIGURED MAHOGANY AND SATINWOOD TIDAL LONGCASE CLOCK the swan-necked pedimented hood above a glazed wavy-edge door on a canted trunk with moulded edge gothic door and box base with inlaid oval panel, the 13" arched painted dial with floral spandrels and Arabic chapter ring surrounding a subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture, the arch enclosing a rotating moon phase with tidal reading above and reading 'High Water at the OLD Passage', fronting an eight-day weight driven movement striking the hours on a bell 124.5cm high
