Group of Chinese Embroidered Sleeve Bands. The fist, worked silk and gilt threads in Peking knots and couching on a pale orange ground with peony blooms and flower vases; the second, with butterflies and prunus on a pale greenish-gray ground; the third, with double peaches and butterfly on a grayish-yellow ground; the fourth, depicting butterflies and vases amidst various flowers in satin stitch and Peking knots on a blue ground with an appliqued midnight-blue border. {Largest: 29 1/4 x 12 1/2 inches (74.3 x 31.8 cm)}. Condition: Some fraying, staining, losses.
