Of note are reports detailing an arson investigation into the fire-bombing of 44th Democratic Ward office of Alderman William Singer, by molatov cocktail, and the investigation into the Young Lords and their founder, Jose Cha Cha Jimenez, including the latter's rap sheet with original mugshot. Other cases involve street gang fights, surveillance reports on various groups and events, as well as a carbon copy of a typed arrest report, accompanied by handwritten notes, of Black Panther members in connection to robbery and possession of stolen property, January 15, 1970.

The Young Lords were a Chicago street gang that became a civil and human rights organization. Founded by Jose Cha Cha Jimenez in 1968 in the Lincoln Park section of Chicago, they fought gentrification, police brutality, and racism. Inspired by the Blank Panther Party, they organized community service programs, direct action protests, and fought for Puerto Rican independence and community empowerment.
