French Gilt Bronze Empire Style Figural Mantel Clock, mid 20th c., with a classically attired youth holding a cornucopia, leaning on an urn surmounted rectangular column, containing a time and strike drum clock with an enamel dial with a retailer's name of "Cardinaux a Paris," over a relief frieze with a classical woman and symbols of science, literature and agriculture, on a plinth base with a frieze of two putti, garlands and wreaths, on relief decorated turned legs, H.- 19 1/2 in., W.- 13 in., D.- 5 in.
