Alleged JFK Assassin James Files Archive of Letters, Drawings & Photos

Housed in a black 3-ring binder, the archive contains 40+ handmade cards, letters, illustrations, and photographs from James Files, along with other miscellaneous prison and court documents, taken from when Files was serving time at Danville Correctional Center and after his parole. Letters have flattened mail folds, else in very fine condition. From the collection of Ron Hoskins, assassinologist. Includes great items such as the following:

JFK Assassination Letter from Danville Correctional Center. 3pp, measuring 8.5" x 11", Danville, Illinois, dated November 16, 2014. Signed "Jimmy" and addressed to Jeremy Bacon. Files relates his alleged experience of Kennedy's assassination on November 22, 1963, in part: "…O.K. on to your question! Who were the '3' Tramps? By the time they were found in the box car, loaded with explosives, I was long gone. But what I know for sure is that 2 of the tramps were Lansdale and C. Holt. All the photos I've seen are way too fuzzy to really see who they are. I'm only going by what I heard inside the circle of power! Those who know things, make the rules that change history. As for Frank Sturgis, yes, he was there that day. But he was NOT in the boxcar loaded with explosives and he was Not one of the '3' tramps. Frank Sturgis was there that day for me, in case I had a serious problem, and needed my ass bailed out of trouble again. Frank was a very good Friend! Yes, I knew Lansdale and Prouty. Before Prouty died, they interviewed him about me and Operation Mobile White Star and he told them yes, I was one of his men on White Star. The archives had a fire, but only one box was destroyed. The records for White Star, 1959 and 1960. The records before and after those 2 years survived. Makes you wonder??? Anyway, the tramps were…let me put it this way…C. Holt brought us the Secret Service I.D. and Lansdale was 'Grounds Coordinator' that day. The 3rd tramp???..." Accompanied by the original envelope.

James Earl Files (b. 1942) confessed to being the alleged "grassy knoll shooter" in the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Files is an alleged mafia hitman, and claimed that he had been standing behind the stockade fence when he took his fatal shot at Kennedy. He has been described by psychology professor, Jerome Kroth, as "surprisingly credible", however, the FBI has stated that they investigated Files' claims and found them to be illegitimate.
