Eindrucksvolle Sammlung mit Aufnahmen von Ansichten von Thailand (einschließlich Bangkok), Malaysia, Kambodscha. Dabei zahlreiche Genreszenen, Porträts, Landschaften und Ansichten des Krieges und der Zerstörung etc. ''En 1945, Germaine Krull parcourt l'Asie comme correspondante de guerre. Krull hielt engen Kontakt zu anderen in Paris lebenden Fotografen und Künstlern wie Man Ray, Sonia und Robert Delaunay, Eli Lotar und André Kertész Nach Ausbruch des Zweiten Weltkrieges lebte Krull zeitweise in Brasilien und Afrika, wo sie für die Organisation France Libre tätig war. Als eine der ersten weiblichen Kriegsberichterstatterinnen ging sie 1946 nach Indochina. Zwischen 1947 und 1966 arbeitete sie als Leiterin des Hotels Oriental in Bangkok. - Meist wohlerhalten, nur selten mit mininalen Läsuren.

Mostly on verso with detailed description of the picture. - Impressive collection of photographs of views of Thailand (including Bangkok), Malaysia, Cambodia. Krull maintained close contact with other photographers and artists living in Paris, such as Man Ray, Sonia and Robert Delaunay, Eli Lotar and André Kertész. After the outbreak of the Second World War, Krull lived for a time in Brazil and Africa, where she worked for the organisation France Libre. In 1946 she was one of the first female war correspondents to go to Indochina. Between 1947 and 1966 she worked as manager of the Hotel Oriental in Bangkok. - Mostly well preserved, only seldom with minimal disturbances.
