STAMPED "HARRINGTON & BURGER / ROCHESTER", NEW YORK DECORATED STONEWARE CROCK, salt-glazed, "4" gallon capacity slip-trailed designation, cylindrical wide-mouth form with incised ring, applied arched handles, and collared, flat-top rim, Albany-slip glazed interior, very fine linear cut-off lines under base. Slip-trailed cobalt decoration featuring a daisy plant with two blooms and six leaves, additional cobalt highlighting stamp. The shop of Thompson Harrington and John Burger, Rochester, NY. 1851-1854. 11 7/8" H, 12" D.
Excellent appearance, professional restoration to a horizontal hairline just above base in back and 4" up the side below right handle.
