CORTLAND, NEW YORK DECORATED STONEWARE DIMINUTIVE JUG, salt-glazed, approximately half-gallon capacity, beehive form with collared flat-top mouth and strap handle. Unusual brushed and slip-trailed cobalt decoration of two tulips emanating from a central caterpillar-like device. M(adison) Woodruff & Co., Cortland, NY. Circa 1875. 9" H.
