**First Time At Auction**

West Africa, British, ca. second to early third quarter of 20th century CE. A group of ten dye-punched half-pennies from British West Africa, each with a narrow central perforation. One coin bears a date of 1932; one coin has a date of 1935; seven coins exhibit a date of 1952, and the date on the last coin is heavily encrusted. Size of each (all are relatively similar): 1" Diameter (2.5 cm)

Provenance: private J.H. collection, Beaverton, Oregon, USA
