This lot consists of a hand-stenciled aerosol painting on a reclaimed metal street sign, done in the street art style of graffiti artist Banksy (British, 1974-). A repurposed no parking sign with "Banksy" stenciled horizontally at top left. Done in the subversive, contemporary graffiti style for which Banksy is so well known. This rectangular metal road sign measures approximately 18" x 12".

Banksy is an anonymous English-based street artist, vandal, political activist and painter. Banksy combines dark humor with graffiti done in a distinctive stenciling technique. His works of political and social commentary have been featured on streets, walls, and bridges of cities throughout the world.
