Russian "Unexpected Joy" silver icon, c. 1900, a supplicant kneeling before the Mother of God and Christ child with raised wire cloisonne enamel halo, gilt washed corners and plaques with Cyrillic inscriptions, first Kokoshnik mark, with assayer's initials A.C. (Aleksandr Nikolaievitch Snarsky), B.C. maker's initials, additionally hallmarked with a ram and anchor in cartouche, the interior with the full traditional depiction, possibly an old print, approx 12.5"h, 10.5"w, 3lbs (inclusive of all materials) Start Price: $300.00
