20th-16th century BC. A terracotta mould for a standing figure; accompanied by a handwritten and signed scholarly note by W.G. Lambert, late Professor of Assyriology at the University of Birmingham 1970-1993, which states: 'Terracotta mould for standing figure in long plain robe holding an object (kid as offering?) in the arms, 11x6 cm. Babylonian, c.2000-1600 B.C. broken off at ankles, and sides chipped.' 162 grams, 11cm (4 1/4"). Ex private London, UK, collection, 1970-1990.
