Roman, Imperial period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A heavy, large cast bronze key with a loop at one end for attachment to a ring, a chunky, rectangular body, and a projection at ninety degrees forming a locking mechanism. Imagine what this key unlocked! Could easily be worn as a pendant. Size: 2.5" W x 1.25" H (6.4 cm x 3.2 cm)
