Description
A Chinese blue and white zun vase dating from the 19th century. The neck and body of the vase feature bands of lotus tracery with the 8 Buddhist emblems. The shoulders feature elephant head handles with engaged rings. The bottom of the vase has a 6-character mark.
Dimensions: 17 inches tall X 13 inches wide; 43.2 cm tall X 33 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Numerous fleabite chips to the rim; a few iron pits throughout; small chip to 1 ring.
Provenance: From Mrs. Chan in Honolulu, Hawaii; acquired by her father prior to the 1950s.
