A famed artist that was active in France and Spain, Salvador Dali (1904-1989) is known for surrealist painting as well as his drawings, etchings, sculptures, photography, and even film work. His eccentric artform and personality gained him international recognition over the years. Dali Influences include Cubism, Impressionism, Futurism, and his involvement in the Surrealism Movement. In the late 1920s, some art by Salvador Dali showed strong recognition to Pablo Picasso who he interacted with along with Miro among others. Salvador Dali ended his art career around 1980 and died 9 years later at the age of 84. His art is owned and held by Museums and art collectors around the World.
