La Femme Adultere by Salvador Dali 109/150 is a Dali signed dry point etching on arches paper. Number 109 of the series, this piece is in great condition, has a Certificate of Authenticity on verso from Cetaur Sculpture Galleries, and another description on verso (see photos). Framed, matted, under glass. Great Salvador Dali with crisp signature. A famed artist that was active in France and Spain, Salvador Dali (1904-1989) is known for surrealist painting as well as his drawings, etchings, sculptures, photography, and even film work. His eccentric artform and personality gained him international recognition over the years. Dali Influences include Cubism, Impressionism, Futurism, and his involvement in the Surrealism Movement. In the late 1920s, some art by Salvador Dali showed strong recognition to Pablo Picasso who he interacted with along with Miro among others. Salvador Dali ended his art career around 1980 and died 9 years later at the age of 84. His art is owned and held by Museums and art collectors around the World. In 2011, PORTRAIT DE PAUL ELUARD, an oil from 1929 by Salvador Dali sold at auction for over $21,000,000. 1% of hammer price for all items sold at Masters of Art Volume II Art Series Auction will be donated to the Humane Society.
