This lot consists of a watercolor illustration on paper, done in the modernist style of Raoul Dufy (French, 1877-1953). Carefully framed under protective glass. Image depicts a charming port scene, with boats large and small traversing the fluid and colorful waters. Overall measurements approximately 17.25" x 19.75". Image sight approximately 11" x 13.75".

Raoul Dufy (French, 1877-1953) was a printmaker, illustrator, and designer. When he was 18, he began his formal artistic training at a local municipal art school. From drawing he moved on to painting, and branched out from there. Dufy was heavily influenced by contemporaries like Camille Pissarro and Claude Monet.
