Description
Realistically modelled as a jester's marotte, depicting a female jester with red and blue guilloche enamel detail and rose-cut diamond highlights, terminating in a pearl and rose-cut diamond, French assay marks, length 4.8cm.
Condition
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear. Gross weight approx. 6.4g. Damage to the enamel work. Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment Pearls untested for natural origin. Pearl with rose/ golden hue and fair lustre. Brooch pin fitting slightly loose when fastened.
