Enamel Jeweled Pendant. Late 19th, early 20th century French pendant inlaid with a tour a reduire of St George slaying the dragon. Beautiful openwork design to diamond accented Gothic style frame with red and orange plique-a-jour enamel, and ruby accents to bottom corners of frame. Julien Duval maker's mark lower left comprised of JD in a lozenge separated by mistletoe. Most probably designed by Frederic Charles Victor de Vernon. Additional unidentified stamps to bale. Total approx. weight of 4.3 dwt. From a Sandy Hook, CT estate. Dimensions: 0.75" w x 1.25" h, excluding bale.
