A late Victorian silver and 18ct gold, ruby and rose-cut diamond snake stickpin. Ruby calculated weight 0.36ct, based on estimated dimensions of 4 by 3.5 by 2.8mms. French assay mark, partially indistinct. Length of stickpin head 1.1cms. 2.6gms. With Tiffany & Co. case.

  • Diamonds bright.

  • Some diamonds appear to have a yellow discolouration beneath the settings.
  • Ruby is a medium slightly purplish red hue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
