A nice Roman bronze coin of Emperor Titus. An attractive example, Titus, AD 79 - 81. Bronze As, struck AD 80-81. IMP T CAES VESP AVG P M TR P COS VIII, laureate head left / AETERNIT AVGVST S-C, Aeternitas, draped, standing right, left foot on globe, holding sceptre and cornucopiae. (25 mm, 8.33g). ref: RIC 219, BMC 208. Ex Riverside, CA private collection, acquired at Coin Galleries, NY, 1970-1971.
