A large Roman bronze coin of Antoninus Pius. A nice example with a great portrait, Antoninus Pius, AD 138 - 161. AE-Sestertius struck AD 148-149. ANTONINVS AVG PIVS PP TR P XII, laureate head right / COS IIII S-C, Aequitas standing left, holding scales and cornucopiae. (33 mm, 22.21g). ref: RIC 855, Sear 4162, Cohen 232. Ex Riverside, CA private collection, acquired at Coin Galleries, NY, Jan 29, 1970.
