A GEORGIAN IRISH MILITIA PRESENTATION SABRE BY PROSSER, 80cm curved blade frost etched and decorated with scrolling foliage, stands of arms, crowned GR cypher, crowned strung bugle horn and PRESENTED BY THE 2ND DIVISION OF LIGHT INFANTRY OF MILITIA IN IRELAND TO MAJOR CHARLES LLOYD JULY 14 1806, gilt highlights, gilt hilt in the neo-classical manner and incorporating a crowned strung bugle horn, contained in its engraved copper gilt mounted leather scabbard, the upper mount with maker's panel.
