An attractive Near Eastern bronze pin, c. 1000 - 600 BC, the terminal in the form of a very schematically modelled ram, with large curved wings and long tail behind topped with a curl; at bottom a small loop. The head is modelled atop a long neck with round eyes and short curled horns. L: 6 ½ in (16.5 cm). Cf.
