the lid with a blossom finial above the baluster form body having twin branch-form handles and engraved with a shield crest and a presentation engraving, the square base with a gadroon border and quatrefoil decoration, raised on paw feet.
the interior lid rim hallmarked for Sterling, the body and base apparently unmarked
