Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Reign Period famille jaune monochrome porcelain bowls. Deep curvature, of a shallow vessel, round straight upward to form the rim, straight wide opening rim, with a slightly round raised footing. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in famille jaune underglaze base color which masterfully covered in an even coat of a lemon yellow glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white underglaze. The lemon yellow glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The foot rim reveals the cut edges during the making process, and the receded central interior base left white underglaze. Elegancy come with tall hardwood stand carved with scrolling flower and foliage and auspicious motif. The Elaborately carved Zitan hardwood frame perfectly accentuates this work of art. This pair bowls rests on a hand carved stand, set within a snug fitting hardwood box, beautifully presented inside hard cushion wrapped auspicious archaistic medallion threads with ruby red silk, all set within an original hardwood box. This piece displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the finely exterior, glazed smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.

Mark on under base, a six underglaze blue seal script characters reign mark, Qianlong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
