An American Aesthetic Rosewood Three-Piece Parlor Suite
Attributed to Herter Brothers, New York, Circa 1875
Comprising a settee and two armless parlor chairs, the sofa with tufted rectangular back over padded arms ending in stylized carved lion head terminals, raised on tapered legs joined by stretchers with scrolled panels, ending in animal paw feet on rear casters; with one original Herter Brothers Chinese silk and red velvet pillow (silk distressed).
Height of settee 35 x length 65 x depth 34 inches; height of chairs 33 x width 24 x depth 23 inches.
