The mining industry atlas comprises Important mapping of the mines of Nevada as their silver and gold were pushing forward the economy of the United States, and particularly that of California. Part of the report of the United States Geological Exploration of the Fortieth Parallel under Clarence King. Included are color maps showing the many mines and shafts of the Comstock Lode, plus geological maps of the Washoe District, the Toyabe Mountains, the White Pine Mining District, etc.
