Also included is a US Navy miniature medal bar consisting of 4 medals including a “US Navy Expert Pistol Shot,” a Lady Liberty “Freedom from Fear, Freedom of Speech,” a naval themed “American Campaign,” & an enameled Legion of Merit medal. Our auction estimate on this piece is 10-10000. Provenance:This piece comes to us from the Greenberg estate, an 85 year old retiree from New York with an amazing collection of Judaica, antiquities, and antiques, most with original receipts and certificates of authenticity.Maker:US government & WERNSTEIN JENA for German government Condition:Metal(s) show some light surface wear & some toning / patina consistent with age. The Germam metal has an area of oxidation on the back side near the pin catch. Grosgrain ribbon shows some mild discoloration / staining with a few hand stitched repairs seen on the back.
